Mail theft spikes during tax season throughout the county

Across Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln and Loomis, mail theft has been spiking during tax season.

In Roseville, there were 64 total reports of mail theft in 2019, 47 in 2020 and 77 in 2021, according to Roseville Police Department crime analyst Jason Rudolph. So far this year, there have been 12 reports of mail theft in Roseville, Rudolph said.
